Those of you who've followed our joints in past ye

Those of you who've followed our joints in past years know we like to shout-out and support local hospitality places, especially new ones.

Tonight, Robin and I visited @sunrisetequilabar in Margate. What an exceptionally cool place! Last week, we visited my son in South Beach and ate at an incredible spot called Mila. The design of that joint was incredible, as was our overall dining experience. Tonight, when we grabbed a seat at Sunrise at their creatively decorated and most welcoming 2nd floor bar, I said to Robin, "this place reminds me of Mila" Seconds later, owner Brian Hiltner came over to say hi and I related how Dana and his joint reminded me of Mila. He said, "Dana actually modeled the upstairs after Mila!" Well she nailed it and there is nothing like it in Margate
The place is super cool; it was jammin' on this early Spring eve. We were as comfortable watching March Madness on one of their many flat screens as were the groups of people, young and otherwise, who were having a great time enjoying Sunrise's well-thought and creative cocktail and food menus. The place has a super hip and cool vibe- nothing like it in Margate. Brian and Dana have created a destination. They spared no expense and the experience we had was chill, fun, and we felt we were traveling somewhere else! This place will KILL this season! A great addition and a new and exciting choice for all of us to enjoy in Margate--which has become a destination town for diners and fun-seekers, alike. What a great place!! Check it out!!!
